My Faith
Everything I am and everything I do starts here. My faith in Jesus Christ is not just a part of my life. It is my life.
I grew up in a Christian home, but there came a point where I had to make it my own. Not my parents' faith, not something I inherited. A real, personal relationship with God that carries me through the hard days and gives purpose to the good ones.
That verse is how I try to live. Whether I'm mixing sound for a wedding, building a website for a local business, or working on something at 2 AM because I can't let it be anything less than my best. I want every piece of work I put out there to reflect the excellence that God calls us to.
I'm not perfect. I'm a work in progress. But I know who holds my future, and that's enough.
This site exists because of Him. Everything on it is a testimony to what Christ has done in my life.

I'm David. Born and raised right here in Sedalia, Missouri, with Ukrainian and Russian roots that run deep.
By day I work a full-time job. By night (and weekends, and early mornings) I build things. Websites, audio systems, apps, businesses. I've always been the kind of person who can't sit still. If I see a problem, I want to solve it. If I see something that could be better, I want to make it better.
I taught myself to code. Built my first real websites for local businesses. Got into audio engineering because my church needed someone to run sound, and nobody else wanted to do it. Turns out I loved it. Three years later I was mixing live audio for Night in Bethlehem productions with hundreds of people in the audience.
I've started multiple businesses, learned what it takes to actually deliver, and I'm just getting started. My faith gives me purpose, my family gives me reason, and my work gives me a way to serve both.
I'm not trying to become a tech mogul or build the next Silicon Valley startup. I just want to do honest work, serve my community, and leave things better than I found them.

The Journey
How I got here. God's plan, not mine.
Born & Raised in Sedalia
Grew up in Sedalia, Missouri with deep Ukrainian and Russian roots. Faith and family were the center of everything. Church wasn't just Sundays. It was our whole life.
Started Serving at Church
Learned to serve early: running sound, helping with events, showing up when nobody asked me to. The church needed someone, and I said yes. That "yes" changed the direction of my whole life.
Taught Myself to Code
Somewhere in high school, I discovered I could build things with a computer. HTML, CSS, then PHP, then JavaScript. I was hooked. Built my first websites and realized this was something I could actually do.
Night in Bethlehem
Three years of mixing, mastering, recording, and running slides for our church's biggest annual production. By year three, I was managing the entire audio setup for hundreds of people.
Built Two Businesses
Launched Orlov Digital (web development) and Elegant Audio LLC (wedding audio). Two brands, one mission: serve people with excellent work and honest pricing.
First Paying Customer
Lemko Coating signed on, paid in full. I delivered a complete website with admin panel, portfolio, SEO, and Google Business Profile. Contract to live site in one week.
Just Getting Started
Building Praise Pro. Growing Orlov Digital. Booking weddings for Elegant Audio. Working full-time, building on the side, trusting God with the rest. The best is yet to come.
